This very popular course will provide candidates with an appreciation of
fitting and adaptor selection to meet a specification, enabling a more authoritative approach to be made when selecting items to match correct pressures, fluid, main component ports, prevent damage and be aware of health and safety implications.

To provide a better understanding to those involved in the commissioning and maintenance of such items.

Course Details

  • Practical “Hands on Session” will be conducted throughout the course.
  • P.T.F.E. Tape and P.T.F.E. Paste.
  • Application of PTFE Tape.
  • Dowty Seals or Bonded Washers
  • Thread Types Covered .S.P.P., B.S.P.T., J.I.C., U.N.F., N.P.T., S.A.E., O.R.F.S., DIN METRIC.
  • Different Sealing methods used in the industry
  • Seat angles, Thread angles.
  • Theory test paper.

Certification

An Enermech Certificate will be issued on completion of the course.
