This course covers the duties and responsibilities of a Rigger under LOLER 98 and is designed to emphasise important areas of pre-use inspection, safe usage and correct after use cleaning and storage of lifting equipment. Hands-on practical work with guidance in Safe Rigging, Slinging Techniques and Lifting Procedures are an integral part of this course. Risk Assessment and Method Statements are covered in detail.
The course is generally recognised as a requirement for all personnel involved in Rigging and Slinging for lifting.
