Accredited by OPITO, the two day course is intended for personnel new to the offshore industry and means that the level of safety awareness and training is standardised throughout the industry.

It pulls together elements which may previously have been run as individual courses, minimising repetition and making basic training simpler to coordinate.

The MIST course covers the following elements:

  • Introduction to the Hazardous Offshore Environment
  • Working Safely (including Safety Observation Systems)
  • Risk Assessment
  • Permit to Work/Control of Work
  • Platform Integrity
  • Manual Handling
  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
  • Working at Height
  • Mechanical Lifting


Course duration:

2 day, candidates are required to bring their own PPE


Dates: 

Arranged to the mutual convenience of Client / candidates / Consultants.

 

Certification
An Enermech Certificate will be issued on successful completion of the course.
