| This course is designed to give Installation Supervisory level personnel in depth coverage of LOLER 98 Regulations and requirements in order that they might set up controls and systems to implement LOLER requirements.

• LOLER 98 Policy statement • Implementation of alternative policy ie Written Examination Scheme • Lifting Operations Codes-of-Practice • Roles and responsibilities clearly defined • Nominated LOLER Representative • Lifting equipment identity • Hired or leased lifting equipment • Traceability of defective/scrapped lifting equipment • Availability of equipment work history documents • Self-assessment procedures • Lifting equipment strength and stability • Risk Assessment guidance documents • Categories of lifting operations • Generic and special written procedures • Lifting of personnel • Access restriction • Marking of lifting equipment • Organisation of Lifting Operations • Rigging Lofts • Thorough Examinations and Inspections • Thorough examination documentation • Training and training records • Revoked SIs
Companies should now be able to provide evidence that their, contractors, and staff have the training, competency and knowledge to work safely.
The content of this course can be varied to suit the requirements of Supervisory Level personnel responsible for the planning and organisation of lifting operations, or the procurement, control, maintenance and storage of lifting equipment.
Course duration: Normally 3 days, but can vary with depth of coverage required by the client. Certification An Enermech Certificate will be issued on successful completion of the course. |
