Introduction

Intended for Shippers and forwarding agents, Operational and supervisory staff, Offshore personnel.

The Dangerous Goods by Sea Freight encompasses the guidelines of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea and the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships as amplified in the international Maritime Dangerous Goods Code.

To provide candidates with the knowledge to verify that a dangerous goods shipment has been properly prepared.  To handle a shipment in accordance with the IMDG Code.

Clothing:    

For the practical period of this course all candidates are required to provide their own protective clothing ie hardhat, safety boots, coveralls, gloves, etc.

Certification
