Job Title:       Contract Support Engineer
Job Location:  Aberdeen, UK

Job Purpose

The position may require the Engineer to operate between the company's office and the clients offices located in Aberdeen.
They will be the primary focal point between the Client and EnerMech and will be responsible for coordinating all of the services that the company provides to the client.

Main Responsibilities

Include but not be limited to the following:

• Supporting the completion of all crane maintenance tasks both planned and adhoc, including identification of resources and materials. Raising Change Requests and Work Orders as required by offshore.
• Resolve or investigate any crane and lifting technical issues.  Coordinate support specialists as required.
• Input to Supervision of Crane Technicians offshore with regards to execution of Crane Maintenance.
• Identify cost for crane maintenance and projects including outline proposal and identifying various options prior to final approval
• Align maintenance procedures and conduct reviews in accordance with best practice requirements.

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Mechanical based qualification or sound technical background are essential for this role.
• Previous experience in cranes and lifting equipment is preferred.
• Previous experience in the offshore industry, including time spent in an offshore role is essential.
• Previous budget experience is essential.

Personal Competence, Qualities & Skills

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a knowledge/understanding of:

• Current legislation pertaining to cranes and lifting equipment
• Hydraulic equipment and components
• Customer focused with good interpersonal skills
