Due to expansion in our Perth Australia office we require a Mechanical Project Engineer to work in our new Perth office. Duties include: - Providing engineering support for offshore crane repairs, refurbishment, operation and maintenance.
- Provide engineering support for EnerMech and client mechanical equipment, including spare parts sourcing, refurbishment plans and equipment hire activities.
- Engineering design related to offshore crane and lifting projects.
- Participate in, and carry out, lifting studies for clients both onshore and offshore.
- Preparation of workpacks and other documentation.
- Project management activities including all technical and commercial aspects of projects.
Reports and internal working relationships: - Directly Reports to: General Manager Cranes, Australia.
- Close working relationships with: Clients, Vendors, Technicians, Engineers.
Essential Experience, Competence, Skills & Knowledge: - Degree qualified, preferably mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar environment.
- Offshore crane and lifting experience would be very highly regarded.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Service mentality.
- Good communications skills internally and externally to the business.
