Hydraulics engineering firm Norson Power has been acquired by mechanical services company EnerMech Ltd in an £11 million deal.

Founded in 1974 in Aberdeen, Norson Power provides hydraulic pipework installation and designs and manufactures hydraulic equipment for the oil, gas and marine industries.

Middle East growth with New Qatar office PDF Print E-mail

Mechanical services company EnerMech Ltd has opened new offices in Doha, which will be soon followed by workshop facilities in Qatar and further expansion in the Middle East.

The Aberdeen-based cranes, lifting and rigging specialist has already secured a general services contracts from Maersk Oil Qatar to provide offshore crane maintenance and crane operator training.

Perth-based EnerMech Pty Ltd has been given the seal of approval by Australia’s National Training Information Service (NTIS) to deliver competency training in offshore crane operating.

The mechanical services company has been accredited as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Western Australia and been endorsed to deliver the PMASUP305A (Operate Offshore Crane) competency standard.

EnerMech Bulks Up Storage Facilities With £300,000 Investment PDF Print E-mail

EnerMech has invested £300,000 in constructing two bulk storage buildings at its Aberdeen headquarters.

The air-controlled units have been designed for the primary purpose of storage of oilfield cranes, lifting and hydraulic equipment.
