Lloyds Banking Group's Corporate Markets division has boosted the growth prospects of leading oil and gas services firm EnerMech Ltd with new funding worth £24 million.

The Aberdeen-based mechanical engineering services business will also streamline its global finance capabilities with a new international cash management facility.

EnerMech Secure £8 Million BP Crane Contract in Azerbaijan PDF Print E-mail

Mechanical services company EnerMech has been awarded an £8.2 million ($12M) crane operation, maintenance and inspection contract by BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Ltd in Azerbaijan.

The three year deal includes the provision of core personnel for offshore crane operations in Baku, lifting equipment, engineering and technical services, spare parts, repair and refurbishment and training services.

EnerMech's training division has secured a contract worth in excess of £1.4 million to provide trainers and assessors for international oil and gas contractor Saipem.

The Aberdeen company's health and safety and competency experts will support Saipem staff working on construction and pipelaying vessels, offshore drilling rigs and land based drilling projects across the world.
