Ineffective Flexible Hose Assemblies (FHA’S) are serious contributors to the loss of process containment in many potentially dangerous areas. Defects and failures will compromise safety and environmental performance and contribute to unplanned shutdowns/outages. EnerMech provide our clients with a reference framework of management, technical controls and procedures which are necessary to ensure the continued integrity of FHA’S. EnerMech will tailor a programme specific to each individual client’s needs to ensure that all FHA’S, maintain technical integrity throughout the intended life cycle. We operate Reliabilities Centered Maintenance philosophy to achieve operational efficiencies and reduce maintenance costs. The management of client’s FHA’S can be conducted onshore or offshore by hose inspection surveyors who have considerable knowledge and experience of many global locations and assets. EnerMech are committed to providing a best in class service and have dedicated technicians and an internal structure to support this. All onshore/offshore have achieved a level of competency in this field and also participate in ongoing improvement programmes. All survey work is in strict accordance with UKOOA guidelines.
Radio Fequency Identification (RFID) The vast majority of flexible hose assembly manufacturer’s adopt a basic method of identification and tagging. This method is highly impractical and is prone to damage and ozone degradation. RFID tagging of each asset along with the use of powerful handheld devices allows us to keep accurate maintenance status and location information. This information is recorded directly by the engineer inspecting and managing the FHA (Flexible Hose Assembly), thus eliminating the paper trail back to the office and creating a streamlined communication between the client and their asset.
