About

EnerMech business lines have been serving the same customers for more than 25 years. In April 2008, the cranes, training, pumping, hydraulics and equipment services were all placed under the official brand we now refer to as EnerMech. There is also a central engineering and technical foundation for the company, combined with more suitable distribution channels. This benefits our customers by delivering more cost effective solutions, and a greater degree of service than competitors can offer. EnerMech is led by the highly experienced management team of Doug Duguid, Michael Buchan, Phil Bentley, Derek Grant and John Wingfield.

EnerMech’s strategy to grow the business by both organic start-up of business lines and acquisition is well underway and supported by an available combined capital investment of more than £30 million provided by the five private shareholders and Lime Rock partners.

Acquisitions completed in 2008 included Specialist Maintenance Services Ltd, A1 Safety Training Consultants Ltd in the UK, Pavitt Energy and Scotia Oilfield Trading in the Middle East and Bjorge ASA’s crane division in Norway.

Doug Duguid, Enermech Managing Director explains the company vision, “The strategy for EnerMech is simple - we believe that there is a place in the market for a specialist mechanical services company focused on providing excellent service quality at a reasonable cost.”

"The organization’s strength involves a strong mechanical engineering design, maintenance and operational capability deployed at strategically positioned facilities across the Eastern Hemisphere.
The company employs over 300 personnel and has operating bases in UK, Norway, Middle East and Asia Pacific."
